Last night I opened up a new book (The Invisible Hook, by Peter Leeson, if you must know) to find a rather unusual dedication page:
So then that got me thinking- first of all, did she say yes? The powers that be at Google found me the answer (she did) but this also got me thinking, what else is written in the books that I own? I never gave much thought to dedications before, I don't even really look at that page ever. So after perusing a few books that I've got here, I got the usual "To my Mother"s and "To my wife"s but one of my books fittingly proclaimed it to be:
