Colored for a Cure

The Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure (for breast cancer) is tomorrow. The Art Museum is all lit up in celebration of the race, which starts right in front of the art museum, as well as the museum's new Andy Warhol exhibit.

Indian Summer

Yep. It's back being warm and summer-like again. I think mother nature needs to stop PMSing and get with the program: pick a season and stick with it. Maybe I shouldn't complain though, because it's nice not to be wearing a parka in October.

Know I really know I live in Milwaukee. Someone had the world famous Bratwurst of the world famous Milwaukee Brewers 7th Inning Stretch Sausage Races in their front lawn. Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore (or New York, either).

East Side Walks- Part 1

So I began taking occasional walks in my new neighborhood- Milwaukee's East Side. This grocery store was the first fun thing I saw, not only is it closed, it's quite proud to be shut as well.
