Birthday Cake
From my birthday dinner at Devon's Seafood Grill at Bayshore. The waiter thought it was clever, I thought it was delicious.

Yep, That's My Co-Worker in a Wine Barrel
At our company outing to Cedar Creek Winery this evening, Erin was drafted to demonstrate how one could get into a wine barrel to clean it out by hand. She was not best pleased, but tried to be a good sport.

Spying on the Neighbors
I live next to an old Victorian home that's used as a law firm, but for some reason they've got a green house in the back... it's kinda hard to tell what they're growing in there, even when it's sunny out. Mostly I just see a little old guy puttering around with potting soil.

One Super-Large-Giant Brewers Post to Make Up for My Laziness
I scored awesome lower-level tickets to the Brewers' game yesterday against the Phillies in the NLDS (the Brewers were the divisional wild-card in the playoffs this year). I mean, sure, they lost today and therefore won't fight for a chance to go to the world series, but they did kick some butt in the game last night, winning 4-1. Maybe this is stating the obvious, but it was by far the best baseball I have ever attended.

Outing
Here's a slice of a picture of Dan waiting to get his pizza served up to him at Classic Slice, one of the reportedly best pizza places in Milwaukee. They serve thin-crust, East Coast-ish pizza that took me back to late nights eating Amore's and Ben's pizza in NYC. The pizza wasn't as good, but the company definitely was.

Dan at the Museum
Another shot of the bridge at the Art Museum that juts out over Lake Memorial Drive. I messed up the settings on my camera and caught Dan walking towards me. He looks all ghostlike and blurry like this. He thought he looked a little like a subject for an Edvard Munch painting, but I think he looks like a picture in a trendy art magazine ad.

Lunchtime Snack
Just a picture of the Paleta that I had with lunch today. There's a happy little man who comes around in a cart with all sorts of flavors of these made-of-100% fruit popsicles. Naturally, when I heard I could have mango and strawberry at once, I was on board.
