Safe and Sound

I thought about trying to steal it, but I'm too short to reach.

Living

Ironically, the WTC site/new construction site sits right behind the graveyard at St. Paul's Chapel. The only thing that saved the church on 9/11 was a huge tree that ended up catching pieces of building debris and eventually fell over under the weight.

Things to learn to juggle: apples, oranges, bowling pins, swords, flaming torches, small children.

Cristina and the Elevator of Doom

After pressing the elevator button in our building three times, and each time getting the scarily dark (no working lights) and broken elevator, Cristina and I took a chance and hopped in anyway. Here she is, modeling her coat for me in the scary-dark-elevator-of-doom.

Correspondence

Someone in California clearly loves me (and stamps with bears on them, too).

Ringed

These particularly tasty Vadelia onion rings were dinner, eaten at New York Burger Co. at 23rd St. and Park Ave. in NYC. They taste like tasty goodness, or alternatively like a Chili's Bloomin' Onion. Best eaten with honey chipotle sauce or doused in ketchup.

Street sights

A view of the Flatiron Building in the distance, which is by far my favorite triangular building. I also enjoy a good Fire Lane, also pictured here.

Empire View

Lower Manhattan never looked so scenic, nor so barred in. Taken from the Empire State Building's observation deck.

From Up Top

Lower Manhattan, Jersey, and the Hudson River. The concrete jungle never looked so good.

1 Up'd

While in Rockefeller Center, this shirt in the Nintendo Store stood out as particularly cheeky. I'd hit it, too.

Valentine's Day M&M's

Why hit on people when chocolate coated candies can do it for you?

Snowy Street

The Amsterdam Billiard & Bar on 4th Avenue and 11th Street during an unexpected snow storm.
