Yohe, a Very Japanese Car

Cristina's little sports car. His name is Yohe, and Cristina is almost phanatical about taking care of him....she parks him in the farthest, most remote parking spots so he won't get scratched. Now that's love.

Cristina's House

Cristina's big house. Inside are her hilarious parents and her three ridiculous cats. And ska music. Lots of ska music.

Recovery

Cristina finally recovered from her dread illness, and joined me in Veteran's Park for some sunbathing and New Yorker reading. Naturally, I couldn't go even one day without hurting my body in some way, so I made sure to get good and sunburned.

Yummyness

Cristina came to visit me, and promptly baked brownies. Enough said. :)

Awkward NYU Party

A special presentation....bringing you the awkward dynamics of an NYU dorm party. This is narrated by the lovely Mary McCarty and features many of this blog's dearest friends like Cristina Popek and Christina Carey. It's also pretty typical of what Mary and I have regularly seen at these dorm soirees, regardless of the company invited. Must be an NYU thing...maybe we should have gone to state school. Shoes

One more nifty picture on a different setting...Cristina's red Converse hi-tops (skinny hipster jeans included). I'm pretty sure that's her now knocking on my door and asking me for a copy of this picture...she loves these shoes that much. Also, Mary's classy work shoes are in the background. Maybe one of these days I'll start a series on shoes...starting with all the funky slippers people wear around the university dorms...

So I was goofing around with my camera while Cristina was over last night and I decided to use one of the twilight settings....and lo and behold, Cristina and I in warm red and yellow tones.

Midterms

In the spirit of procrastination and photo essays, today I present what I was actually doing while I should have been writing my honors thesis project:

Shopped with Cristina,

And watched her get stuck in a shirt,

Bought some snacks and a new comic book,

Had an aperitif to calm my nerves (and polished off that bag of chocolate chips),

Surfed YouTube for 2 hours,

And am still here, stressed out, because nothing's done.

Cristina and the Elevator of Doom

After pressing the elevator button in our building three times, and each time getting the scarily dark (no working lights) and broken elevator, Cristina and I took a chance and hopped in anyway. Here she is, modeling her coat for me in the scary-dark-elevator-of-doom.
